BLACK STRAP PINEAPPLE
We use whole, fresh pineapples, skins n' all. Chop them down and combine them with dry Demerara sugar, then leave them to work for 3-4 days for the sugar to extract all of the flavour from the fruit. The resulting golden pineapple syrup is then blended with our aged Caribbean rum and lashings of black strap molasses to form this spectacular spirit!
The resulting nectar has aromas of bright, fresh pineapple nestled amongst creamy fudge, a touch of stone fruits and subtle notes of banana and treacly molasses.
Much like our original black spiced rum, delicious sipped neat, but mixes incredibly well with ginger beer, simply served with lime and soda, or forms the base for the best Piña colada you'll ever drink!
