Ocean Conservation

For every bottle sold, we make a 20p donation to ocean conservation charity, Surfers Against Sewage

Black Strap Pineapple rum

We use whole, fresh pineapples, skins n' all. Chop them down and combine them with dry Demerara sugar, then leave them to work for 3-4 days for the sugar to extract all of the flavour from the fruit. The resulting golden pineapple syrup is then blended with our aged Caribbean rum and lashings of black strap molasses to form this spectacular spirit!

Tasting Notes

Aromas of bright, fresh pineapple nestled amongst creamy fudge, a touch of stone fruits and subtle notes of banana and treacly molasses.

How to serve

Much like our original black spiced rum, delicious sipped neat, but mixes incredibly well with ginger beer, simply served with lime and soda, or forms the base for the best Pina Colada you'll ever drink!

Our base rum is a premium 3-5 year old blend from the Caribbean. We then spice, blend, barrel age and bottle by hand at our facility in Cornwall.

Where does the name 'Crusty Juggler' come from?

The Crusty Juggler character is based on a historical figure known as a 'Wrecker'. Wreckers were part of the Cornish smuggling trade and would deliberately lure ships into the bay to wreck them on the rocks. They would then steal the cargo washed up on the shore. The name also has origns in one of our favourite comedy films, 'Hot Fuzz'.
